BUSINESS POLICIES

Booking Policy

  • If you are interested in booking Paws & Enjoy Life - At Home Pet Care’s overnight services, please complete 

      ​my Pet Care Questionnaire (the more information, the better!) 

  • Clients are booked on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to contact me today! 

  • Before services can be booked, Paws & Enjoy Life will schedule a meet & greet free of charge to ensure everyone is a good fit. 

    • If additional meet & greets are needed, there will be an additional charge per meet & greet when booked. 

  • Paws & Enjoy Life cannot guarantee that any last minute changes can be honored due to other potential bookings. 

    • Paws & Enjoy Life asks clients to stick to their original dates and if any changes are needed to please communicate with me at least two weeks or more before services are scheduled to start.

    • Please refer to the cancellation policy in the event that you might need to cancel

 

Payment Policy 

  • The following payment methods are available to everyone via my invoicing system

    • Apple Pay 

    • American Express, Discover, Mastercard, & Visa 

    • ACH Bank Transfer

  • Payments via Venmo & Zelle are also accepted 

    • If you would prefer to pay with Venmo or Zelle, I will send you the request. Please just provide me with your account information.

    • Paws & Enjoy Life is not responsible for any payment sent to the wrong account 

  • Payment in full is required to book my services. This guarantees you're booked in my calendar and ensures services will be completed 100%. 

  • My services are charged on a flat per day schedule. Charges start on the first day of your booking and end of the last day of the booking no matter the time of my arrival or departure.

  • Since I am a small business, sales tax will be applied to all services at the current rate (8.625%).

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Once dates are booked, I will reconfirm two weeks prior to the start of your booking. There is a 2-week cancelation policy outlined below:

    • If your booking is canceled within fifteen days or more from the start date of services, you will receive a full refund

    • If your booking is canceled seven to fourteen days before the start of date of services, you will receive a 50% refund

    • If your booking is canceled seven to one day(s) before the start dates of services, you will not receive a refund

 

General Pet(s) Policies

  • In the event of an emergency, I encourage all clients to leave an emergency contact number with me as well as the name and phone number of their vet. 

  • Please also make note of any allergies your pets may have as well as any medication your pet needs while you’re away when filling out my pet care questionnaire. 

  • For the protection of your pet and myself, I ask all clients to please be transparent and honest if there are any behavioral issues. 

    • For safety concerns, I will be unable to take your pet to the dog park or doggy play dates for the duration that I am hired. 

  • If your pet has a scheduled veterinary appointment during the booking, I would be happy to take them to their appointment for no additional charge.

    • Please leave detailed instruction regarding the vet visit

    • Paws & Enjoy Life is not responsible for any vet fees. Please ensure that there is a payment method on file to pay for any vet fees. 

 

Holiday Policy

  • Holidays can be very meaningful to everyone, pets and humans alike! If you book during any of the observed holidays listed below, there is a 15% holiday fee applied to the total amount of services booked. 

    • ​If your booking includes 2 or more holidays a 25% holiday fee is added to the total amount of services booked.

  • The following holidays are recognized and observed by Paws & Enjoy Life: New Years Eve/New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Valentine’s Day,Presidents Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Passover, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Columbus Day/ Indigenous People’s Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day. 

 

Miscellaneous

  • Paws & Enjoy Life always makes sure to send daily updates with pictures/videos to clients letting them know that their pet(s) have been taken care of. Clients can request more or less updates if they desire.  

  • Paws & Enjoy Life would be happy to assist with other house sitting duties as long as  proper instruction is given. 

    • All dishes, bath towels and bed sheets will be cleaned upon my departure 

    • If there are any tools, appliances or items that you would prefer not be used during my stay please just let me know. 

  • Any mail & packages that are delivered to your home will be brought inside and will be safely put away. No mail or packages will ever be opened unless I am given specific instructions to do so.

  • If you have a trash/recycle service come to your home, I would be happy to put the bins out for pick up, just let me know when that needs to be taken care of.

  • I will also assist with any basic care related to houseplants and/or gardens if instructions are provided. 

  • If there is anything else that needs to be taken care of while you are away just let me know!
