DOG WALKING POLICIES

Booking Policy

• If you are interested in booking Paws & Enjoy Life - At Home Pet Care’s dog walking services, please complete  my Dog Walking Questionnaire (the more information, the better!) 

• Clients are booked on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to contact me today! 

• Before services can be booked, Paws & Enjoy Life will schedule a meet & greet free of charge to ensure everyone is a good fit 

  • If additional meet & greets are needed, there will be an additional charge per meet & greet when booked. 

• Paws & Enjoy Life cannot guarantee that any last minute changes can be honored due to other potential bookings. 

  • Paws & Enjoy Life asks clients to stick to their original dates and if any changes are needed to please communicate with me at least two weeks or more before services are scheduled to start.

  • Please refer to the cancellation policy in the event that you might need to cancel

 

Payment Policy 

• The following payment methods are available to everyone via my invoicing system

  • Apple Pay 

  • American Express, Discover, Mastercard, & Visa 

  • ACH Bank Transfer

• Payments via Venmo & Zelle are also accepted 

  • If you would prefer to pay with Venmo or Zelle, I will send you the request. Please just provide me with your account information.

  • Paws & Enjoy Life is not responsible for any payment sent to the wrong account 

• Payment in full is required to book my services. This guarantees you're booked in my calendar and ensures services will be completed 100%. 

• My services are charged on a flat per walk schedule. 

• Since I am a small business, sales tax will be applied to all services at the current rate (8.625%).

 

Cancellation, Refund, & Weather Policy

• Once walks are booked, I will reconfirm 24 hours or more before the walk is scheduled. 

• All walks must be cancelled within 24 hours to receive a full refund. 

• If walks are cancelled in less than 24 hours, no refund will be given.

• If it is raining/snowing heavily and/or if there is thunder and lightning, walks will be rescheduled and/or cancelled at no charge. 

• Hot and cold weather conditions are always taken into account before walks are scheduled to begin and adjustments (such as playing inside and shortened walks) will be made if the conditions are unsafe for both myself and your pet(s). 

 

Holiday Policy

• Holidays can be very meaningful to everyone, pets and humans alike! If you book during any of the observed holidays listed below, there is a 15% holiday fee applied to the total amount of services booked. 

• The following holidays are recognized and observed by Paws & Enjoy Life: New Years Eve/New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Columbus Day/ Indigenous People’s Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day. 

 

Packages

• Paws & Enjoy Life offers package deals for 5, 10, 15, or 20 walks with a discount of 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% off walks. 

• Paws & Enjoy Life will keep track of package usage and inform the client when they are on their last walk to give them the optional of renewal 

• Packages do not carry over to the following year. All packages purchased in 2024 must be completed by December 31st, 2024.

 

General Pet(s) Policies

• In the event of an emergency, I encourage all clients to leave an emergency contact number with me as well as the name and phone number of their vet. 

• Please also make note of any allergies your pets may have as well as any medication your pet needs while you’re away when filling out my pet care questionnaire. 

• For the protection of your pet and myself, I ask all clients to please be transparent and honest if they’re pets have any behavioral issues. 

  • ​For safety concerns, I will be unable to take your pet to the dog park or doggy play dates for the duration that I am hired. 

• If your dog(s) likes to be walked on the beach or somewhere else other than your neighborhood, Paws and Enjoy Life would be happy to walk your dog in the surroundings they are used to.

  • A travel fee may apply
